Nebaram Sirvi

Nebaram Sirvi, a 45-year-old from Bijowa (Pali), Rajasthan, was in Pune during the lockdown. He urgently traveled to Rajasthan for a family emergency, using 30,000 INR from his grocery shop savings. Without prior information or support, he relied on TV and phone news. His journey included a taxi ride to Mumbai and then to Rajasthan via the Gujarat border, facing scarce food and water, and extensive border checks requiring paperwork, taking 3 days.

Despite the challenges, he managed financially due to his business but received no external support. Nebaram stayed in the city to maintain his grocery shop, with his family receiving no aid during the lockdown.
